Wraps per inch (WPI) chart
Lost the label? Wrap the yarn snugly around a pencil or ruler, side by side without gaps or overlaps, and count the wraps in one inch. Measure in a few places.

WPI depends on how tightly you wrap, so treat it as a guide and always knit or crochet a gauge swatch. See the yarn weight chart for needle and hook sizes.
