Frequently asked questions
How do you crochet a perfect sphere?
Start with 6 single crochet in a magic ring, increase 6 stitches every round until you reach the width you want, work the same number of even rounds, then decrease in the mirror image of the increases.
Why does my ball look like a hexagon?
Increases stacked in the same place make corners. Stagger them: work half the plain stitches, increase, then the other half on alternate rounds.
When do I stuff it?
Start stuffing when about two-thirds of the decrease rounds are done, then finish the last rounds and close the hole.
