What do you write on a quilt label?
The essentials are the quilt’s name, the maker, the date and the place. A short personal message turns it into a keepsake.
Where should the label go?
Traditionally on the back, in the lower right corner when you look at the back. Sew it on before quilting if you want the quilting stitches to secure it, which also makes it harder to remove.
